DEN OF INIQUITY

Den of iniquity is a place of gross injustice, wickedness, and sin. Our Lord spoke of time that He shall send forth His angels, and they shall gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and them which practice iniquity; and shall cast them into a furnace of fire (Matthew 13:41-42).

Jude said that there will be mockers in the last time, who walk after their own ungodly lusts. These are they who separate themselves, having not the Spirit. And of some have compassion; and others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire (Jude 18-23).

When one finds they are in a den of iniquity, utterly vile, morally despicable, a place of contempt even of the Lord's name, it is then that one is to readily represent the truth of God's Word and pray for those who are ignorant to that truth.

The Precious Breathe of Life

There are those who do not realize the significance of the truth of the Gospel who would attempt to undermine its intended message. They would make mockery of the church or anyone associated with it. Thank God, that when His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, suffered and died on the cross of Calvary, it was for every one who lives and breathes the precious breathe of life. Until that last breathe departs there is hope for one to recognize the truth of God's Word, and the offering of His only begotten Son towards the saving of the soul.

Our Lord had a heavy burden on the day of His being crucified to make atonement for the sins of mankind. His name is not to be taken lightly, nor abused, for there is no salvation in any other: for there is no name under Heaven whereby we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Thank God, the grave could not hold Him, for on the third day He rose from the dead, became victorious over death and the grave, and forever more lives!

A World Vile and Corrupted

The world is becoming vile and corrupted, a den of iniquity, without the benefit of a loving Savior. Islam is spreading fast promoting a falsehood that will not lead to a heavenly gain for there is no room for Christ in its teaching. Other gods are being promoted in many lands that will not lead to a heavenly gain for there is no teaching of salvation through Jesus Christ.

There seemingly is little peace in our world today, turmoil prevails, and many are in wonderment as to what it is all about. Our Lord said, that because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall grow cold. But he that shall endure to the end, the same shall be saved (Matthew 24:12-13).

The name that some mock, and ridicule, is the very name that brings salvation and the saving of the soul. The name of Jesus can bring peace in one's life. However, many remain locked in their own conceit and rejection towards the gospel message without a ray of hope unless they allow its message to be received.
