The docile church is one which is easily shaped such as metal which will submit to any design a sculptor may have. Scripture encourages one to remember them that have rule over you, who have spoken to you the Word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation. Be not carried about with various and strange doctrines (Hebrews 13:7-9).

I am seeing deception play into focus, concerning the Church, as it allows other agenda come into focus which is in opposition to God's Unadulterated Word. We are living in a time when there are self-appeasing doctrines floating about with little effort to remove such teachings.  Doctrines that tickle the ears (1 Timothy 4:3) are easy to abide by; with little, or no, separation to God.

The deception of the serpent (Genesis 3:1), in the Garden of Eden, is amongst us today. Scripture records that one is to be sober, and vigilant; because your adversary the devil (referred to as that old serpent called the Devil and Satan - Revelations 12:9), walks about seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). Just as Eve was deceived by the serpent so is the Church being deceived today.

The Docile church has entered into a time that it is now receiving the previously unacceptable. It has allowed its previous godly stance to be outweighed by the ways of world and the fruit of appeasement. Many are now avoiding the truths of God's Word and are walking in their own desired lifestyles; seeking after worldliness rather than walking uprightly before the Lord.

When a baby comes forth from its mother's womb it is influenced by the instructive nature of those around it; whether the influence is good or bad, and so it is with the Church. However, God's Word is full of golden nuggets of truth that will guide and direct one's life to the fullness of God's intent for mankind. One does not need to be deceived into believing a half-truth.

There is a change that takes place in one's life from the moment of conception; as a new convert and believer in Christ. Just as that of a new born baby is in its growing process, with its parents by its side to love, protect, and guide it, so is our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, ready to assist us in our walk in Him.

One does not have to be part of a church that is shaped or formed by the ways of the world; that appease the flesh rather than God. Throughout the Word of God there is an admonishment to walk uprightly before the Lord. I pray that you will carefully examine God's Word; walk in accordance with its precepts, and not according to man's persuasion (Galatians 5:7-8).
