A New Foundation
I believe we are seeing a new foundation being laid right before our eyes, as recorded in the Book of Ezra. For when the foundation was laid all the people shouted with a great shout. But many of the ancient men, that had seen the first house, when the foundation of this house was laid before their eyes, wept with a loud voice; and many shouted aloud for joy: so that the people could not discern the noise of the shout of joy from the noise of the weeping of the people: for the people shouted with a loud shout, and the noise was heard far off (Ezra 3:10-13).
Her First GloryIn the Book of Haggai a question was asked: "Who is left among you that saw this house in her first glory? And how do you see it now? Is it not in your eyes in comparison of it as nothing (Haggai 2-3)?" I believe many have fallen away from the Biblical concepts and strengths of yesteryear and are possibly even unaware of doing so for those who were shouting for joy had not seen the glory of the first temple, as the ancient men.
Cry AloudIsaiah was told to "Cry aloud, spare not, lift up your voice like a trumpet, and show my people their transgressions, and their sins (Isaiah 58:1)." Ezekiel was told "I have set you a watchman; therefore you shall hear the Word of the Lord and warn them from me (Ezekiel 33:7)." Can one do any less in this hour?A Film That Depicts This New Foundation IdeologyThe film Time Changer is a perfect illustration of the new foundation that is being laid right before our eyes in our modernistic society. It is a Rich Christiano Film and is right on target towards what is happening in our land which lies undetected by some who have become blinded to its fulfillment. Scripture reveals that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; having their conscience seared with a hot iron (I Timothy 4:1-2). One's mindset can become of such a nature that they lose out to the princples of virtue and moral honesty.
