Muzzled but coming out is the hope of every Born-Again Christian that has been restricted in exercising their belief.  It has been reported that one out of every twelve Christians, in the world, suffer persecution of some sort; and many are even martyred  (90,000 worldwide this past year) for their belief.

It is reported that there are 50 or more nations in the world that attempt to muzzle the growth of Christianity.  America has been blessed in its Freedom of Religion;  but there are those who would attempt to suppress such freedom.

Abraham Lincoln, an America President, in His famous Gettysburg Address stated: "This nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom."  That freedom had become tarnished through the nation becoming divided; which required a new birth promoting brotherly love and unity.

Lincoln in his address to the nation said:  "With malice toward none; with charity for all; with firmness in right, let us strive to finish the work we are in; to bind up the nation's wounds; to cherish a lasting peace among ourselves and with all nations."  In America, and many other nations, there are some who are struggling for such a concept.

George Washington, America's first President, in a prayer at Valley Forge said:  "Almighty God, save us from violence, discord and confusion; from pride and arrogance, and from every evil way.  Defend our liberties, and fashion into one united people the multitude brought here out of many kindreds and tongues:

In time of prosperity, fill our hearts with thankfulness, and in the day of trouble, suffer not our trust in you to fail; all of which we ask through Jesus Christ our Lord".  He also stated:  "We need to recognize that there can be no righteousness, order, or peace among a people who exclude God and His law from their lives."

America, and other once godly nations, have allowed the corrosive breath of immorality to prevail in the land.  America has allowed ungodly laws and judicial rulings issued that support immorality.  This is an attempt to muzzle the liberties established so very long ago by great men of God; who openly and freely, testified of their faith in God.

If such is threatened; a new freedom can be birthed out of the chaos; the concept of muzzled but coming out.  It is much like the caterpillar, a wormlike with often brightly colored larva, that temporally confines the butterfly, until time to be released.

Freedom of Religion is sometimes confined by those who desire to keep its beauty under wraps.  However, as in the caterpillar's case, there is a coming out, in the form of a new found liberty, from its previous confinement.

America which proclaimed itself as "One Nation Under God" has begin to be muzzled by the ungodly as ungodliness bursts forth with little restraint.  The nation's once held moral values are dissipating with the ugliness of sin coming out to ensnare others into acceptance.  There is a coming out; but not of righteousness but rather unrighteousness.

It is like Sodom and Gomorrah rising again which God destroyed to warn others from taking such a path (2 Peter 2:6).  It took the hand of the angels of the Lord to deliver Lot, and his household, from Sodom prior to its destruction.

Scripture records that Lot was oppressed with the filthy conduct of the wicked; in dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, tormenting his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds (2 Peter 2:7-8).  Despite God's warning, we are seeing the destructive nature of Sodom and Gomorrah rising again; not only in America, but in countless other nations as well!

There are those who caught up in the sinfulness of mankind are coming out of such an entrapment; being set free by the power of the Gospel.  There is hope that many, who have been shackled by sinful lifestyles, will be enlightened to the Gospel of Christ  and set free!

Thank God for those who can say they are no longer muzzled by the sinful characteristics of man but have received a greater hope; the way of righteousness rather than a pathway that leads to destruction and ruin.  Thank God for providing such a way; through His only begotten Son, the Lord Jesus Christ (John 3:16)!
