Our darkest hour was when we began to erase God from the picture and allowed ungodliness to take root. The mainstream media is playing a significant role in helping to promote the ungodliness that has taken place; along with Hollywood and other famous figures of stardom.
There is now an acceptance of ungodliness that would make Sodom and Gomorrah pale in comparison. The Social Media is playing a significant role in regards to acceptance and promotion of the filth and degradation being set forth. Our darkest hour was further extended when America's judicial system helped set the pace by promoting ungodly agenda through rulings that defy the Word of God; such as Role Versus Wade and Same Sex Marriage.
I once witnessed a huge tree uprooted by a bulldozer. I was amazed how far reaching its roots had become. So it is with the darkness that is attempting to outweigh the good in America. The prophet Isaiah spoke of such a time when one would call evil good, and good evil; put darkness for light, and light for darkness (Isaiah 5:20). Our darkest hour is the fact that such has been allowed to take place!
America has become a nation of individuals with little concern for the morals of the land; a nation that has allowed ungodliness to take root, rather than seeking the righteousness of God. It has grown accustomed to the ways of unrighteousness.
How can the Church, in many areas of the world, even consider embracing the ways of the ungodly? How can it inject worldly entertainment in the place of godly worship? Has it not flaunted God's Word; His standard of holiness? Our darkest hour is that the world has become an influence to the Church; rather than the Church being an influence to the world!
I do not relish crying out against the nation, or church, that I was birthed in! But as darkness begins to seep in though the deceitfulness of the ungodly; is it not time to expound the words of truth that will set one free? An unknown author wrote: "Love America! But love her wisely. Work hard to cure the faults, the mistakes under which she labors. Do not leave her to be ruled by a few who make it their business to rule. She is yours!"
As one sees the darkness that is evading America, and other once godly nations; is one not to expel that darkness through the truth of God's Word? Is one to remain passive while the flood of immorality continues to assail the land? The greatest fear should be a nation once under God becoming a nation without God. Of having Ichabod ascribed because the glory of the Lord had departed (1 Samuel 4:21-22).
The Stature of Liberty, a beacon to all who came to the shores of America to share in its religious freedom and the pursuit of happiness; received a face-lift because deterioration had set in. As America continues to be invaded by ungodly influences towards a self-destruct mode; does it not need a face-lift to undo the ungodly deterioration of a once righteous nation?
A famous 19th century French statesman, and historian, traveled to America to discover the reasons for her incredible success as a new nation wrote: "I sought for the key to the greatness of America in her harbors; in her fertile fields and commence; in her public school system and institutions of learning.
I sought for it in her democratic congress and in her matchless Constitution. Not until I went into the churches of America and heard her pulpits flame with righteousness did I understand the secret of her genius and power."
Is the flame of righteousness being allowed to distinguish? One time I seen an advertisement on the back of a cereal box in big bold letters "Keep the Torch Burning" seeking contributions towards refurnishing the Statute of Liberty.
Should we not do the same for America? Is there not a need to do as the prophet Isaiah who was instructed by God: "Cry Aloud, spare not, lift up your voice like a trumpet, and show my people their transgressions, and their sins" (Isaiah 58:1)
Timeless messages that are seemingly endless in value.
God's watchman are sounding the alarm, revealing the very nature of God's Word, warning of impending judgment unless repentance is sought, as in the case of Nineveh.
A vision from God importance is mentioned In the Book of Proverbs: Where there is no vision the people perish.
It is not time to vacate a life that has been out of tune to God's Word and to "tune in" to "What Thus Saith the Lord." Hatred and mistrust is growing out of control.
