The Lord's Return

The Lord's Return is a fact, a promise stated in God's Word, an event that will be a glorious attribute to the believer in Christ who is watching and waiting for its fulfillment. Scripture tells that while they beheld, he was taken up: a cloud received him out of their sight. And while they looked toward heaven as he went up, two men stood by them in white apparel; which said, you men of Galilee, why stand you gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner, as you have seen him go into heaven (Acts 1:8-11).

What a glorious promise, words of comfort to those who had just witnessed His ascension, that in like manner He would return again. That promise is for today for those who are awaiting His return. The believer in Christ will be caught up to meet the Lord in the clouds, instantaneously receiving a glorified body.

We are seeing events happening, in our time, that reveals just how close Jesus' coming is. He said: Upon earth there shall be distress of nations, with perplexity; men's hearts failing them for fear, and from looking after those things which are coming on the earth. And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draws near (Luke 21:25-36).

Events Unfolding

There are events coming about in the Middle East that would make one's hair stand on end if they could comprehend the closeness of the clash of powers that will far exceed what we have seen in the past. Not only in this area, but others as well are as a power keg about to be exploded with its destructive force unleashed.
Do you believe that the Lord's return is at hand? Are you ready for this great event? The earth will lose its gravitational hold at that moment. A body transformation will take place. A glorious triumph will come into focus at that moment. It will happen in the twinkling of an eye, so rapidly that one will not even see it coming about, except for those who are participating in this great event (1 Corinthians 15:51-58).
A Preparatory Stage
We live in an hour that we are seeing events unfold that are eye openers to the truth of God's Word. A preparatory stage is being set for the believer in Christ.
No one, except our Father in heaven knows the day, or the hour, of the Lord's return but one is to be ready, for in such an hour as you think not He will come. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we always be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18).
