A spiritual high is through God's Spirit and the fullness of God's Spirit.  In the Scriptures God's Spirit is referred to as the Comforter, the Holy Ghost, and Holy Spirit; and He is the third part of the trinity or Godhead.

When the Holy Ghost was imparted on the Day of Pentecost some supposed that the recipients were drunken.  But the apostle Peter said: "These are not drunken, as you suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.  But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; it shall come to pass in the latter days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh" (Acts 2:14-17).

Those gathered in the Upper Room experienced a spiritual high that was misinterpreted until Peter set the record straight.  The Holy Ghost was imparted that one might be endured with power from on high; which continues in the hour in which we live.  Peter said:  "The promise is to you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call" (Acts 2:39).

Jesus said:  "The Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said to you" (John 15:26).  "When he is come, he will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment" (John 16:7-8).

We are not seeing the Spirit-filled services, as of yesteryear, but His mission is still the same, and He (The Holy Ghost - or that of God's Spirit) is still at work in the hearts and lives of those who will allow Him to operate.  God's Spirit induced a great awakening, both on the Day of Pentecost, where some 3,000 souls were saved; and other times when the presence of God's Spirit was, and is, manifested.

Is it not time for another great awakening, the power of God's Spirit being manifested, to bring conviction, righteousness, and judgment to America, and other once godly nations?  Is it not time that we look to the power, and source God has provided us, through the third part of the Trinity, or that of God's Spirit?

Is it not time to cry out: "Lord, send us a mighty Holy Ghost revival, to see thousands of individuals coming to the altar of repentance; and receiving God's greatest gift to mankind, "The Salvation of One's Soul?"

A spiritual high is needed in place of a high; through various other means offered by man.  We are seeing more and more seeking the alternate high; rather than turning one's heart and life over to the the Lord Jesus Christ and the presence of God's Spirit in one's life.

Does one continue in the ways of a sin-sick world or do they desire what God has provided?  One may get a high on the things of this world but a spiritual high can only come through one source; God's Spirit drawing one to the salvation of the soul, and then blessing that person with the presence of God.

One may gasp at the many beauties that God has provided, through His creation, but nothing is more beautiful, or rewarding, than seeing a soul saved from the clutches of sin; responding to God's love.  I pray that you will seek the Lord Jesus with all your heart and enjoy the blessings of a heavenly Father through the power of His Spirit.
