A liberal society is noted for its laxness and moral deficiency. Liberal is showing broad mindedness, freely exercising such regardless of law or moral restraint, being an opponent of conservative and morally correct ways. In the immorality of man one could readily utilize the term of a liberal society.
We are seeing a movement in the land towards crucifying any who would be in opposition to the ungodly trend that many nations are taking. Many once godly nations have eloped into acceptance of the ungodliness of man reversing the trend of yesteryear when they were endeared to the Word of God. (Comment)
The fulfillment of the words of the prophet Isaiah are now present tense: Those who call evil good, and good evil; put darkness for light, and light for darkness, bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter. Those who are wise in their own eyes and prudent in their own sight (Isaiah 5:20-22).
A liberal society embraces the cultural drift of today towards lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes, and the pride of life identified in God's Word as being of the world. The same text reveals: The world passes away, and the lust thereof, but he that does the will of God abides forever (1 John 2:15-17).
One cannot afford to walk away from God's Word which spells out the consequences for having done so (Romans 1:18). The above mentioned characteristics have a worldwide dominance through the availability of the internet and other sources. There needs to be a flushing out of impurities of this worldly environment with the cleansing effect of God's Unadulterated Word.
Scripture reveals that in the last days perilous times shall come and gives the characteristics of those times: Men shall be lovers of their own selves (not subject to the Word of God), covetous, boasters, proud, false accusers, despisers of those that are good, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God (2 Timothy 3:1-4).
Albert Einstein stated: Is it not a terrible thing to be forced by society to do things which all of us as individuals regard as abominable? This was written many years ago but is almost as prophecy being fulfilled in the cultural trend of today.
There is a movement to force acceptance through judicial rulings, with laws being instituted to force ungodliness on others as many nations sink into a complete disregard of God's Word of that which is an abomination in the sight of God. The ungodliness of man has become very focal and demanding, in these latter days, to outweigh any cry for decency.
It is unfortunate that there is a walking away from God's Word, in these latter days, with the church no longer being as attractive as in previous years. A liberal society has more of a drawing power than familiarity with God's Word.
Scripture reveals that evil men and seducers shall grow worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived (1 Timothy 3:13). A liberal society is growing a new crop of individuals by using less offensive words to dress up the evilness being presented.
The makeup of the church, in many Western nations, no longer bears its former resemblance; as worldliness plays into the picture. In many instances it has become more of a social gathering with entertainment being of a worldly nature.
In many Third World nations, where persecution, suffering, and death often results, to the believer in Christ, there is not mere lip service (Mark 7:6). Persecution and suffering brings home the necessity of a real and lasting commitment to the Lord and a heavenly Father.
God's Word reveals those who were stoned, tempted, slain with the sword, destitute, afflicted, and tormented; having obtained a good report through faith, God having provided a better thing for them (Hebrews 11:37-40).
A liberal society which has forsaken God has no such assurance, no such promise. Scripture admonishes one to enter not in the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil men. Avoid it, do not travel on it, turn from it (Proverbs 4:14-15).
As it was in the days of Noah, so shall it also be in the days of the Son of man. They eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage unto the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
Likewise as in the days of Lot, they eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built: but the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all (Luke 17:26-29).
Life went on as the people ignored Noah's warnings but judgment came as foretold. Lot attempted to warn others of coming destruction but was mocked. Wholehearted devotion to God, not that of a liberal society, is the only refuge in such a time.
Scripture reveals: The heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire until the day of judgment, and destruction of ungodly men. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise but is long-suffering to us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.
But the day of the Lord will come, as a thief in the night, in which the heavens and the earth shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up (2 Peter 3:7-10).
Scripture reveals: Seeing that all these things shall be dissolve, what manner of persons ought you to be in all holy conduct, and godliness. We, (the believer) according to his promise, look for new heavens, and new earth, wherein dwells righteousness.
Seeing then that you such for such things, be diligent that you may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless (2 Peter 3:11-14). Beware, lest you, being led away with the error of the wicked (that of a liberal society, fall from your own steadfastness. But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:17).

Voices of dissension are becoming more vocal in nature; outrageous in demands, with little forethought of the results as long as one's selfish ambitions are met.
Youth of today without Bible knowledge, or conviction, can readily be influenced by an immoral society of ungodly content.
