Desire for global domination is through political, economic, and military supremacy over others; achieved through military force or more subtle methods. We are witnessing many countries advancing towards such a goal; sometimes as a gentle lamb but inwardly vicious and threatening to accomplish their desired goals.
There are countries, growing in power and strength, seeking lands that they desire to possess. They attempt to take away the freedom of those lands; to bring them under subjection of their rule towards global domination; to conquer, enslave, and put down any rebellion against that goal being obtained. We are witnessing a maximized effort of a desire for global domination that possibly exceeds past efforts which ultimately failed.
A desire for global domination influence is being displayed through such names as Socialism and Marxism, cousins to Communism; Critical Race Theory (CRT), the Great Reset Plan, instituted by the World Economic Forum; Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Transformation; to name but a few, that would upset the normality of life.
There is a generation that desire global domination through progressive and cultural changes; with a left wing ideology to taking root, that includes an effort to debase the usage of the Bible as a standard for living. It was noted that goals include: Control of the schools to use as tools for promoting their agenda.
Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography in books, magazines, motion pictures, and TV; promote homosexuality, same sex marriage, and transgenderism as normal, natural, and healthy; infiltrate the press, gain control of key positions in government, radio, TV, and motion pictures to promote their agenda.
Thank God for saints (Christians), full of God’s Spirit, willing to oppose the precepts and desires of the ungodly; those who are slowing the process and influence of the ungodly. Oftentimes when one takes a stand for godliness they may appear as little David facing the giant Goliath.
David knew he was not alone in facing the giant; for he proclaimed: You come to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield; but I come to you in the name of the Lord, the God of the armies of Israel, who you have defied, this day will the Lord deliver you into my hands, and I will smite you (1 Samuel 17:45-46). Thank God for godly leaders, who stand in opposition to the darkness of this hour, who as little David are not concerned by the size of the enemy, knowing God has equipped them to stand.
Apostle Paul wrote: Be strong in the Lord and in the power of him might (Ephesians 6:10); take to you the whole armor of God that you may be able to withstand, the evil day, and having done all to stand (Ephesians 6:13). The armor of God consists of: Truth, Breastplate of righteousness, Gospel of peace, Shield of faith; Helmet of salvation; and the Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God; along with prayer and supplication (Ephesians 6:14-18).
We are experiencing a desire for global domination in the area of ungodliness with the church at times remaining silent rather than openly proclaiming the truth of God’s Word. A man of God was asked: If given an hour to explain the Gospel to someone, how would he do so? He said he would spend the first fifty minutes on the bad news of judgment and then the last ten minutes on the good news of salvation, because without the context of judgment one would not appreciate or even understand salvation.
Apostle Paul identified the fact that the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 6:23). It was noted that the penalty of sin is death, both spiritual and physical; people who die in their sin (in an unsaved state) will have to face a second death; portrayed as a lake of fire (Hell) (Revelation 20:15). The only escape from this second death is to receive the gift of eternal life (a heavenly gain) through acceptance Jesus Christ as one’s Lord and Savior.

It was noted that we live in a fallen world that seeks to gratify and accommodate sins. Those congregations and denominations who advocate ungodliness; teach that any Biblical prohibitions against such activity is cultural and not a commandment. Culture and convictions change commandments do not.
A question was asked: Which will it be Christian Biblical Values or totally secular values? We are in a crucial moment throughout what once were the Christian nations of the Western world. Many today want secular values without reference to God.
The desire for global domination is not only of a military nature but to still the Christian voice and testimony; to dwarf such opposition with secular values becoming the norm and deemed more pleasurable than the strait and narrow road, that Jesus spoke of, that leads to eternal life (Matthew 7:13-14).
It was noted that of all influences brought to bear on the Jewish exiles (Daniel 1:3-5), none must have been dreaded more than the attempt to make them forget God and Biblical values. This is a threat to God's people. A desire for global domination is often begins with targeting the youth of the land. One man noted: Give me four years to teach the children and the seed I have sown will never be uprooted (Vladimir R Lenin, Founder of the Soviet Union).
We are witnessing this lands where the youth are trained, at their most teachable moment, towards hatred of a particular race. In Hitler’s day, he formed youth groups to facilitate and carryout his desire for a perfect race; with such teachings still advocated today. There is a love for Christ, and adherence to His teachings, along with God’s Spirit, that would break such a yoke of bondage; if allowed to be nourished.
The youth, in some cases, are not receiving the biblical upbringing of the past, rather are being persuaded to walk away from the truth of the Gospel, towards the darkness of this world that is being manifested in the lives of many. The electronic marvels of our day are indeed beneficial in many ways, towards promoting the gospel message, but likewise unbeneficial in promotion of the ungodliness of our day which has become more attractive and acceptable due to the failure of teaching from past generations who flourished on God’s Word.

The desire for global domination towards darkening the understanding of the ways of righteousness; to enhance the ways of the unrighteousness, is identified: Wise men layup knowledge but the mouth of the foolish (wicked) is near destruction (Proverbs 10:14). The social media, mainstream media, and other venues are a hindrance to truth being exposed; often hidden to ward off any attempt to enlarge one’s knowledge of the truth. Scripture reveals: The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable but the mouth of the wicked speaks forwardness (perversity).
There is a way which seems right to a man but the end thereof are the ways of death (Proverbs 14:12). It was noted that the way which seems right may not be the best or righteous way. There are many jumping on the bandwagon of popularity that do not fully understand the issue at hand, often disguised to promote acceptance of a desired effect. It would behoove one to be careful and seek out the accuracy of what is being promoted, before voicing their seal of approval.
The Book of Proverbs is full of contrasts between the wise and foolish. Oftentimes listening to both sides of the story (a practice seldom exercised today) helps search out the truth. Jesus said: You shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free (John 8:32). We live in a world in which identifying the truth is required before acceptance or rejection is advocated.
The Psalmist noted: Blessed it the nation whose God is the Lord (Psalm 33:12). There are nations who formerly were known as “One Nation under God” who have deterred from such a status. When under such a designation they were within God’s umbrella of protection and provision. However, when they allowed ungodliness to be prevalent, and often times reign, they begin to lose out to such a status.
In the event of falling into such a status, whether a nation or individual, God offers a pathway towards a return to Him. Scripture reveals: If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive heir sin, and will heal their land (2 Chronicles 7:14).
It was noted that while this promise was originally given to King Solomon regarding the people of Israel, it is applicable to all (nations or individuals) who will call on the Lord in repentance and faith. This verse is a high expression of God’s readiness to hear the prayers of a repentant people.
