INTRODUCTION
Despotic state of accusation is justifiable in many instances and misunderstood with false accusations at other times. It was noted that a despotic state of accusation is correct when one measures up to a tyrannical and abusive political environment in which a regime uses the constant threat of accusation, criminal charges, and surveillance as a tool to oppress and control.
The key characteristics of a despotic state of accusation include: When a single entity rules with absolute, unchecked power; acts on their own whims, not bound by a constitution, rule of law or any opposition; when legal processes are not used to administer justice but are instead weaponized to punish and eliminate opponents.

If we could first know where we are, and where we are tending, we could then better judge what to do, and how to do it (Abraham Lincoln). Jesus said: Judge not according to the appearance but judge righteous judgment (John 7:24). Jesus was addressing the Scribes and Pharisees, who had condemned His actions, in curing a diseased man on the Sabbath day. He instructed them to give their sense and judgment of things, according to the truth and evidence of them.
We live in a world of misinformation often gained through biased sources, who base their judgment on a desired slant, often veiling over the truth; those who feast on such will in turn expose such untruths to others. Jesus contended with unjust opposition in His day; which is likewise encountered today by those who readily cast their judgment without checking its accuracy.
Despotism
A despotic state of accusation exists when a single entity attempts to rule with absolute, unchecked power. We are witnessing this, in many countries, where there is an attempt being exerted as one entity attempts to overpower all others. There is only one absolute power in the world today, with failure to identify such a source being the downfall of many. Apostle Paul attempted to identify that source in addressing those on Mars Hill.
Apostle Paul noted there were some who ignorantly worshiped another entity, an unknown God, and then said: Him declared I to you. He that gives to all life, and breath, and all things; has made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on the face of the earth; for in him we live, and move, and have our being; forasmuch as we are the offspring of God (Acts 17:22-29).
Arbitrary Rule
A despotic state of accusation exists when various entities acts on their own whims. Such influence is seen through Socialism and Marxism, cousins to Communism; Critical Race Theory (CRT), the Great Reset Plan, instituted by the World Economic Forum; Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Transformation; to name but a few, that would upset the normality of life.
Goals include: Discredit family as an institution; control of the schools to use as tools for promoting ungodly agenda; break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography in books, magazines, motion pictures, and TV; infiltrate the press, gain control of key positions in government, radio, TV, and motion pictures; infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with social religion, and discredit the Bible.
Thank God for those who openly oppose such entities along with the hideous nature of such. The efforts of those seeking to countermand such pathways of domination, often appear as little David opposing the giant Goliath. David identified the source of strength in addressing Goliath: You come to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield; but I come to you in the name of the Lord, who you have defied (1 Samuel 17:45). Victory from enslavement came that day through God’s intervention on behalf of David.
Abuse of Justice System
Despotic state of accusation is rightfully exerted when legal processes are not used to administer justice but are instead weaponized to punish and eliminate opponents. This is being witnessed in nations that have allowed ungodly individuals to gain control and are utilizing existing entities towards administering injustices rather than justice.
It is unfortunate that various news outlets continue to enhance such activity rather than exposing the truth. It is unfortunate when the victims of accusation come under character assassination which can destroy lives and reputations for political or other gain.
It is unfortunate when those in a judicial setting owe allegiance towards a political party rather than administrate justice according the oath sworn to uphold the law. If such exists, in any land, the words of Jesus need to play into effect: You shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free (John 8:32).
A Climate of Fear
A despotic state of accusation is rightly exerted when an entity maintains its control by fostering an atmosphere of fear that seeks to extinguish any opposition towards the truth. We have witnessed such through pandemics, whether created towards such a desired goal, or one in the making being expounded upon. In countries where either the media or government has the capability to further such fear; through attention being given towards its enhancement, many become as puppets controlled by the puppeteer.
A despotic state of accusation will make the supposed guilty party look even guiltier. Character assassination has become a dominate feature in many lands, to destroy any opposition towards truth or godly positions being obtained in government; with the ungodly coming in control. A world pandemic setting is an example; when it sets in motion a climate of fear that is purposely sought after.
Voices of the Past
If the citizens neglect their duty and place unprincipled men in office, the government will soon be corrupted; laws will be made, not for the public good so much as for selfish purposes; corrupt or incompetent men will be appointed to execute the Laws; the public revenues will be squandered on unworthy men; and the rights of the citizen will be violated or disregarded (Noah Webster).
Benjamin Franklin rose and made the following plea to the delegates: I have lived a long time and the longer I live, the more convincing proofs I see of this truth that God governs in the affairs of men. And if a sparrow cannot fall on the ground without his notice, is it probable that an empire can rise without His aid? Again, not a despotic state of accusation, but the truth being identified so long ago.
If we abide by the principles taught in the Bible, our country will go on prospering and to prosper; but if we neglect its instructions and authority, no man can tell how sudden a catastrophe may overwhelm us and bury all our glory in profound obscurity (Daniel Webster). The despotic state of accusation towards an abusive environment is exposed through TRUTH being promulgated.
Erosion of Liberty and
Property
In a truly despotic system the state can declare itself the owner of all property, taking away one’s liberty as well, leaving its citizens with nothing. There is a Socialistic and Marxism embracement being sought in many countries with the people completely in a despotic state of accusation of disbelieving such; thereby being enticed and receive of its dominating features.
Thank God for those who openly oppose such domination; spelling out its ugly enticements, but there are few listening due to becoming endeared to the promises of a better life under such agenda. There are entities today that hold out enticements that would enslave rather than be of a nourishing nature as the forbidden fruit deceitfully presented to Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3:6).
Turning to God
Nations ancient and modern have been wicked and cruel, and have inflicted unspeakable misery on humankind because they rejected the one true living God. A despotic state of accusation, used as an abusive power of threat, is a tool towards sustaining such domination; God is offering His love towards mankind, as man’s only hope for a lasting and eternal future.
Scripture reveals: God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son (the Lord Jesus Christ), that whosoever believes in him, should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16); Apostle Paul wrote: Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved (Romans 10:13); neither is there salvation in any other; for there is no other name under Heaven whereby we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
Jesus extended an invitation: I stand at the door (door of one's heart), and knock, if any man hear my voice (invitation), and open the door (only you can), I will come in to him (one's heart), and will sup (fellowship) with him, and he with me (Revelation 3:20).
