INTRODUCTION
Changing of the season is prompted by circumstances and ingathering that may have been nurtured long ago but is just now coming to fruition. We are witnessing a powerful influence never utilized as a tool in the earlier days of gathering of information; the internet in whatever area pursued.
Changing of the season is haphazardly achieved through mainstream media which oftentimes is politically motivated rather than unbiased in its reporting. In many instances It has a far left agenda which is teachable to those who fail to search out the truth and digest it as a source of truth.
Changing of the season is enhanced by those in the background who are fueling resources towards continuation of a power struggle to control the masses. Apostle Paul wrote: Let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober (1 Thessalonians 5:6).

Definition
Change is to alter or make different; to become tinted from a state of purity. Season is to render more agreeable, distinguish the season by an appropriate name; to give relish by something that excites, being more agreeable, less rigorous and severe. A more common use of the term changing of the season is that which God created for mankind; the four seasons of the year: Spring - Summer - Fall - and Winter.
It was noted that one is not to take a fence down until you know the reason why it was put up (G.K. Chesterton). In the changing of the season the pursuit of liberty and justice is given little thought as others are used as pawns towards a gain sought; with a powerful drive towards gaining desired territory, with little consideration towards the fence being taken down.
Tearing Down of Strongholds
Antonio Gramsci, an Italian Marxist, noted why the tearing down of strongholds becomes necessary; and now it is to be accomplished. He noted: Any country grounded in Christian values cannot be overthrown until those roots are cut; to change culture, a long march through the institutions is necessary.
Socialism is the religion that must overcome Christianity. In the New Order, socialism will triumph by first capturing the culture via infiltration of schools, universities, churches and the media by transforming the consciousness of society. What comes to pass does not so much because a few people want it to happen, as because the mass of citizens abdicate their response ability and let things be.
We have witnessed many nations, once under a godly influence, began to weigh in on making allowance for the ungodly to maneuver within their borders, rather than being rooted out. We have witnessed the Marxist and Socialist agenda; first moving deceitfully, then more openly, attempting to push Communistic type agenda into nations who once stood fast in democracy and their allegiance to God. Thank God for those individuals who are willing to oppose the changing of the season and stand firm in commitment to God and country.
Influence in the Church
Changing of the season was noted in that we are living in a very permissive day when the religious world is so tolerant to most any and all kinds of standards and lifestyles. This permissiveness and tolerance is the result of a self-willed and carnal minded society.
As a result of such tolerance and permissiveness, there are many churches, and even denominations, which have altered their teachings, their standards, and even their interpretations of the Scriptures to please, to comply with and accommodate this permissive and tolerant society. Very few people this day hold to their heart’s convictions; they change to blend in with their environment.
Changing of the season was noted in the fact that we live in a fallen world that seeks to gratify and accommodate sins that would not have been discussed in public a generation ago. Those congregations and denominations who advocate homosexual and transgender acceptance teach that any Biblical prohibitions against such activity is cultural and not a commandment.
Scriptural Reference
Towards Change
Scriptural reference towards changing of the season is found in God’s Word: Fear the Lord; and meddle (do not associate) with them that are given to change; for their calamity shall rise sudden; and who knows the ruin of them both (Proverbs 24:21-22). One such calamity noted concerned the fall of Babylon, the hold of every foul spirit (Revelation 18:2); whose destruction (God’s judgment) would come in one day (Revelation 18:8).
The Prophet Hosea, in speaking the words of the Lord, revealed: As they were increased, so they sinned against me; therefore will I change their glory into shame (Hosea 4:7). It is sad to witness the downfall of a nation; either personally or reading of it. Pollution within was noted by Jesus who said: Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees (religious of His day), hypocrites. You are like whited (whitewashed) sepulchers (tombs), which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men’s bones and of all uncleanness (Matthew 25:27).
One may be deceived by the beauty of what is being promoted; bearing resemblance towards being right and just, then find that inwardly it is of a different nature. It is easy to jump on the bandwagon of acceptability before examining the true motive of what is being promoted? We live in a world of deception; with just enough truth implanted to make it appear a righteous and just cause.
Way of Thinking
Changing of the season (one’s way of thinking), often causes friction, chaos, and confusion, with its popularity outweighing good sound judgment. The fostering of misinformation has been greatly enhanced; especially as one fosters away from the truth.
Apostle Peter noted: Many shall follow their pernicious (destructive) ways; by reason of which the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. Through covetousness shall they with feigned (deceptive) words make (exploit) merchandise of you; whose judgment now of a long time lingers not (has not been idle), and their damnation (destruction) slumbers not (2 Peter 2:2-3).
Midst of Deception
We are in the midst of deception (changing of the season) being promulgated towards political, personal, or domination of others. As the world walks away from a former godly nature towards a demonic and unfruitful walk in darkness, without the light of the glorious gospel of Christ shining forth, it allows darkness to prevail in a dominating manner.
Apostle Paul wrote: If our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost (perishing); in whom the god of this world (Satan) has blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of our glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them (2 Corinthians 4:3-4).
God Given Knowledge
The Prophet Daniel wrote: He (God) changes the times and the seasons; he removes kings, and sets (raises) up kings; he give wisdom to the wise, and knowledge to them that know (have) understanding (Daniel 2:21). If there be a changing of the season let God be the one; He is an all knowing God who is aware of all which transpires.
The Psalmist wrote: Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; He looks from heaven, he beholds all the sons of men, from the place of his habitation he looks upon all the inhabitants of the earth (Psalm 33:12-14). The eye of the Lord is upon them that fear (reverence) him, upon them that hope in his mercy (Psalm 33:18).
If there is a changing of the season let it be towards the mercy of God, who has provided the way of salvation (through His Son). Scripture reveals: God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16).
Apostle John wrote: He that believes on the Son (the Lord Jesus Christ) has everlasting life; and he that believes not the Son shall not see life (a heavenly abode); but the wrath of God (eternity in Hell) abides (remains) on him (John 3:36). The choice lies with each individual; there is heaven to gain, and hell to shun.
