THE ENSLAVEMENT
OF MANKIND
INTRODUCTION
The enslavement of mankind is the state of being owned and controlled by persuasion or force towards acceptance of what is against one’s will. The difference between slavery and enslavement is the process, or act, of forcing someone into such a condition. It is a social framework that denies people their freedom and free will.
There is an attempt to eliminate Christian influence in order to facilitate dominance of mankind. Karl Marx, Father of Communism, noted: My object in life is the dethrone God and elevate man. Vladimir R Lenin, Founder of the Soviet Union, noted: Give me four years to teach the children and the seed I have sown will never be uprooted. We are witnessing this happening though Marxism and Socialism, cousins of Communism, flourishing even though the originators are no longer among the living.

Goals Sought After
In addition to Marxism and Socialism, the enslavement of mankind is being ushered in through Critical Race Theory (CRT), the Great Reset Plan, instituted by the World Economic Forum; Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Transformation; to name but a few, that would upset the normality of life. Included is a drive to maintain legalized abortion, homosexuality, same sex marriage, and transgenderism as a way of life.
Goals include: Discredit family as an institution; control of the schools to use as tools for promoting ungodly agenda; eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them violation of free speech and free press; break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography in books, magazines, motion pictures, and TV; infiltrate the press, gain control of key positions in government, radio, TV, and motion pictures; infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with a progressive social religion, and discredit the Bible.
Included in the enslavement of mankind is Democratic Socialists; along with Democratic Socialist of America (DSA) organization which functions as a multi-tendency left-wing activist organization; there is also Artificial Intelligence (AI), a complex tool with both significant benefits and serious risks. America, and other nations, need to be on guard as to what is allowed to gain influence that would dominate and control rather than continuation of basic freedoms enjoyed.
Falsehoods Portrayed
as Truth
The enslavement of mankind often originates through falsehoods being portrayed as the truth. The Psalmist revealed: He (the deceiver) travails with iniquity, and has conceived mischief (trouble), and brought forth falsehood (a lie). He made (dug) a pit, and is fallen into the ditch which is made. His mischief (trouble) shall return upon his head, and his violent dealing shall come down upon his own pate (crown of his own head) (Psalm 7:14-16).
This reveals the fate of those who attempt to deceive to gain approval of what is being presented as truth. An example is Haman who was hanged upon the very gallows he had built for Mordecai, a Jew. Haman, through a falsehood presented to the king, was attempting to destroy all the Jews in Persia; but when the truth was exposed was hanged upon the very gallons he had built for Mordecai who openly opposed him (Esther 7:10). A famous quote: Oh, what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive (Sir Walter Scott).
A Superior Race
The enslavement of mankind, or attempt to do so, was illustrated by a political leader who made frequent use of Christian vocabulary. He talked about the blessing of the Almighty and the Christian beliefs which would become the pillars of the new government. He spoke of his spirituality to the press; he displayed his tattered Bible and declared that he drew the strength for his great work from it, with many Christians welcomed him as a man sent from God. Who was this leader? It was Adolf Hitler.
He won over the people with his persuasive speech, but later sought to conquer the world with his design of a superior race of people and elimination of any who did not fit into that classification. History reveals that this sought gain failed due to nations, desiring their freedom, overpowering his armies. We are witnessing the continuation of the same dominating features today by those seeking world domination and power through control or elimination of all who oppose them.
Corrosive Immoral Breath
It was noted that if humanity continues to drift morally and socially during the next century as it did during the present one, we will sink into the abyss of total corruption and despair. We are suffering from the corrosive immoral breath of the 21st century. The secularism, humanism, materialism, liberalism, and commercialism of our day have devastated our resources of security.
The enslavement of mankind is not a pretty sight to those who recognize its dominating force. I thank God for those who expose the truth rather than conceal it. I thank God for those who seek God as their benefactor, and help, in troublesome times rather than humanistic endeavors which, without godly persuasion, can fail. I thank God for freedoms held and maintained no matter the cost.
Ungodly Cultural Drift
The enslavement of mankind is realized when warnings are ignored. Every thinking man realizes that the teachings of the Bible are interwoven with our whole civic and social life that it would be literally impossible for us to figure what life would be if those teachings were removed. We would lose almost all the standards by which we now judge both public and private morals; all the standards towards which we strive to raise ourselves (Theodore Roosevelt).
If we abide by the principles taught in the Bible, our country will go on prospering and to prosper; but if we neglect its instructions and authority, no man can tell how sudden a catastrophe may overwhelm us and bury all our glory in profound obscurity (Daniel Webster). Whenever the pillars of Christianity shall be overthrown, our present forms of government, and all the blessings, which flow from them, must fall with them (Jebediah Morse).
The enslavement of mankind becomes a factor when enlightenment towards truth is not relished or even sought after; when one is steered towards ungodly cultural drift; without realizing the damage it causes as one blindly pursues its supposed benefits. We have ungodly outlets that would offset or even eliminate the need for a godly society; if possible. Can a nation that has once relished God allow such to diminish; yet we are witnessing it happening when ungodly venues are allowed to gain access.
A New Foundation
There is a new foundation being laid, as in the days of the Prophet Ezra, with a younger generation, which had not witnessed the former foundation (temple) rejoicing; while others (ancients of the land) were weeping due to its sorrowful contrast (Ezra 3:12). We are witnessing a similar setting through a new generation of believers who are changing the course of the church through presenting a progressive social gospel rather than the Unadulterated (Word) of God as passed down by previous generations without compromising the living Word of God.
The Prophet Haggai, asked: Who is left among you that witnessed the first (temple), and how do you see it now? Is it not in your eyes in comparison as nothing (Haggai 2:3)? It was noted that although the builders of the second foundation (temple) prayed for the Shekinah glory to return, there is no record that it ever did.
Provision for Mankind
God made a provision for mankind after sin came into existence in the Garden of Eden. Scripture reveals: God so loved the world (you and I), that he gave his only begotten Son (the Lord Jesus Christ), that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16). This is the condemnation, that light (the Lord Jesus) is come into the world, and men loved darkness (sinfulness) rather than light because their deeds were evil (John 3:19).
The enslavement of mankind (its sinfulness) is lifted with the acceptance of Christ into one’s heart and life. Apostle John wrote: He that believes on the Son (the Lord Jesus Christ) has everlasting life (a heavenly gain); and he that believes not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abides (remains) on him (John 3:36). Enslavement, and remaining in sin, comes with rejection of God’s solution towards the sinfulness of mankind; which is the Lord Jesus Christ.
Invitation Extended
The enslavement of mankind does not have to be a factor; no matter who the enslaver happens to be. God made a provision for Israel, in the time of King Solomon: If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal (restore) their land (2 Chronicles 7:14). It was noted that while this promise was originally given to King Solomon regarding the people of Israel, it is applicable to all who will call on the Lord in repentance and faith.
Jesus in addressing the church at Laodicea made a similar plea: I stand at the door (of one’s heart) and knock; if any man hear my voice, and open the door (only you can), I will come in to him, and will sup (dine or fellowship) with him, and he with me (Revelation 3:20). I accepted that invitation and am no longer under the enslavement of mankind, with Jesus as my benefactor and Savior. Today is the Day of Salvation; tomorrow may be too late.
