Power struggle of today is witnessing backlash through polarization within democracies and friction between progressive social shifts of cultural and political standards. Economic inequality is being witnessed by widening gaps in cost-of-living pressures fueled by populist movements and eroding of trust in traditional governance structures.
Power struggles are conflicts where two or more people try to gain control or assert authority over each other. It is a competition or fight for control, dominance, or influence between two or more groups, or nations; with both sides trying to force their own rules or opinions on the other.
Power struggle of today involves areas of concern such as Socialism and Marxism, cousins to Communism; Critical Race Theory (CRT), the Great Reset Plan, instituted by the World Economic Forum; Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Transformation; to name but a few, that are attempting to usher out established influences of the past that are biblical and morally sound.
It was noted that goals include: Discredit family as an institution; control of the schools to use as tools for promoting ungodly agenda; break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography in books, magazines, motion pictures, and TV; infiltrate the press, gain control of key positions in government, radio, TV, and motion pictures; infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with a progressive social religion, and discredit the Bible.
Power struggle of today has evolved into the ushering in of a far-left socialist agenda that has risen from allowed mass immigration of those who have no desire to assimilate into the present culture of a nation but impose their own that would change the nature of a nation, such as induction of socialism as a way of life versus democracy. There is a grouping in certain areas to bring domination through gaining control of positions of authority to continue promotion of ungodly agenda.
A certain political leader made frequent use of Christian vocabulary. He spoke of the blessing of the Almighty and the Christian beliefs which would become the pillars of the new government. He spoke of spirituality to the press; he displayed his tattered Bible and declared that he drew the strength for his great work from it. Who was this leader? It was Adolf Hitler.
World domination was Hitler’s goal; seeking to dominate, to gain power and control despite the cost of human lives to accomplish what he considered the perfect race. Hitler’s demise, and others of like nature, are amply proof that freedom continues to exist, Christianity continues, and the goodness of mankind continues, through limited in nature, despite atrocities being committed and executed.
We are witnessing the cultivation of a demonic nature that dominates the scene without regard to a day of reckoning. It was noted that where there is no fear of God, no reverence for God, every evil can and will abound. The idea that humans will be good without God is a deceptive fallacy. When people are devoid of the knowledge and wisdom that come from believing God and having reverence for Him, they become morally corrupt, exceedingly evil, violent and destructive.
A demonic nature is revealed in Scriptures as to its original source: The great dragon was cast out (from heaven), that old serpent called the Devil, and Satan, which deceives the whole world; was cast out to the earth, and his angels (fallen) were cast out with him (Revelation 12:9). Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and of the sea; for the Devil is come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows he has only a short time (Revelation 12:12).
It was noted that Satan has only a short time to try to prevent the establishment of Christ’s kingdom. Therefore he has great wrath and intensifies his persecution, deception, in an attempt to set up his own counterfeit kingdom. The far-left socialist agenda, being submitted today, in like manner desires the removal of a godly stance, any commitment to God, along with all who fail to accept that which has been imposed by the godless and demonic effort being extended.

The Prophet Isaiah cried out: Woe to them that call evil good and good evil (which is happening in the power struggle of today); that put darkness for light and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter. Woe to them that are wise in their own eyes (justifying evil ways) and prudent in their own sight (Isaiah 5:20-21).
Therefore as the fire (tongues of fire) devour the stubble, and the flame consumes the chaff (that which is left), so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust; because they have cast away the law of the Lord, and despised the word of the Holy One (God) (Isaiah 5.24). This is in reference to Israel but could readily apply to any nation that seeks to override or undermine the Word of the living God.
Power struggle of today may seem as little David (a mere shepherd boy) fighting the giant Goliath; the only one willing to oppose him. But David was not alone; neither is any nation, or individual, who are firmly established as a godly individual; looking to God as their source of strength.
God gave David the ability, and strength, to slay the giant which would have resulted in servitude of Israel, to the Philistines, had David lost. David’s confidence was from God’s previous deliverance from a bear and a lion that threatened the flock he was watching over (1 Samuel 17:34-36); in that He would likewise deliver Israel from the threat of Goliath. In the power struggle of today God continues to be the source and strength of believers who battle the Goliath’s of today.
The Apostle Paul forewarned: This know that in the last days (which we are in) perilous times shall come (they are here). Men shall be lovers of their own selves (their own desired ways), covetous (in an effort to obtain), boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy; without natural affection. Trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent (without self-control), fierce, despisers of those that are good (the righteous), traitors, heady (reckless).
High-minded (haughty), lovers of pleasures, more (rather) than lovers of God; having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof; from such turn away (do not embrace) (2 Timothy 3:1-5). The Apostle Paul continued in writing: All that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution (which is very much in evidence today).
Evil men and seducers shall wax (grow) worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived; but continue in the things which you have learned and have been assured of knowing of whom you have learned them (2 Timothy 3:12-14). With the power struggle of today being so prevalent, it is important in knowing the nature of the source of information being received as to its true merit before consumption.

Scripture reveals: Be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the wiles (schemes) of the devil (and his cohorts). For we wrestle not against flesh and blood (human standards), but against principalities (rulers), against powers, against the rulers (world leaders) of darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places, wherefore (because of) take (take up) the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand in the evil day (which we are in), and having done all to stand (Ephesians 6:10-13).
The whole armor of God consists of: Truth, Righteousness, Peace, Faith, Salvation, and the Word of God. In the final text praying is liked to stand with prayer being indispensable. The power struggle of today is real and ongoing until the coming of Christ to set up His kingdom upon the earth; with the devil, and ungodly, seeking to undermine such, through tools of deception.
Apostle Paul revealed the nature of godly influence: Flee youthful lusts (desires); follow (pursue with intensity) righteousness (those things which are consistent with the character of God), faith (belief in God’s sustaining power), and charity (godly type love), and peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure (unpolluted) heart. But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender (generate) strife.
The servant of the Lord (believer) must not strive (quarrel), but be gentle unto all men, apt (able) to teach, patient, in meekness, instructing (correcting) those that oppose themselves (are in opposition); if God peradventure will give them repentance to (so they may know) the acknowledgement of the truth; and that they may recover themselves (come to their senses) out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at (to do) his will (2 Timothy 2:22-26).
Power struggle of today further seeks to offset the salvation of the soul promised in God’s Word; through deception, the allurement of fleshly desires to keep one from accepting God’s wonderful promise. Scripture reveals: God so loved the world (His creation), that he gave his only begotten son (Jesus Christ), that whosoever believes in him should not perish (be lost without God), but have everlasting life (eternal life in Christ) (John 3:16). The choice of one’s final destiny (Heaven or Hell) lies with each individual prior to leaving this world.
