THE ENDANGERMENT
OF HUMANITY

The-Endangerment-of-Humanity

INTRODUCTION

The endangerment of humanity has become urgent in the sense that it is more prevalent than ever before on a global scale driven by human-caused activities. Reckless endangerment refers to actions that pose significant risk to the safety and well-being of others, reflecting a disregard for humanity.

World domination has become and endangerment of humanity through attempt to undermine freedom and usher in enslavement to the ideologies of man.  In two World Wars God was a factor in victory against those seeking to enslave; will God continue to be a factor towards future freedom or has such a safeguard been lessened due to withdrawal from once held allegiance toward Him?

The Endangerment of Humanity
Path Extended

The endangerment of humanity has extended its coverage through such names as Socialism and Marxism, cousins to Communism; Critical Race Theory (CRT), the Great Reset Plan, instituted by the World Economic Forum; Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Transformation; to name but a few, that would upset the normality of life.

Included in the spin-off of evil is a drive to maintain legalized abortion, homosexuality, same sex marriage, and transgenderism as a way of life. Goals include: Discredit family as an institution; control of the schools to use as tools for promoting ungodly agenda; eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them violation of free speech and free press.

Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography in books, magazines, motion pictures, and TV; infiltrate the press, gain control of key positions in government, radio, TV, and motion pictures; infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with social religion.  Can any nation, or individual, afford to allow enslavement towards agenda that would diminish or eliminate freedom?

Fires of Freedom

If the fires of freedom and civil liberties burn low in other lands, they must be made brighter in our own.  If in other lands, the press and books and literature of all kinds are censored, we must redouble our effort here to keep them free.  If in other lands the eternal truths of the past are threatened by intolerance, we must provide a safe place for their continuation (Franklin D. Roosevelt).

Words of the past often leap out when one realizes the significance of words that embrace endangerment of humanity. We have witnessed a progressive cultural change in lands that previously embraced the very nature of God; His precepts and commandments, being cast aside for what is perceived a better way?

Many nations are facing allowed mass immigration that bring changes that do not reflect the established culture of the nation they have chosen to abide in. The cultures of other lands interwoven into established standards of any nation will accomplish a deterioration of such; if not reckoned with.

A Deceptive Fallacy

It was noted that where there is no fear of God, no reverence for God, every evil can and will abound.  The idea that we humans will be good without God is a deceptive fallacy.  When people are devoid of the knowledge and wisdom that come from believing God and having reverence for Him, they become morally corrupt, exceedingly evil, violent and destructive.

The endangerment of humanity is noted in the fact that eventually kingdoms crumble because they ascended to dominance on the shaky foundation of human ingenuity, political intrigue, selfish interest, and human economy.  Many nations have experienced such drama play out rather than being avoided.

As the racial side of man takes affect the peaceful days of earlier years become delusional rather than a continued reality.  As new leadership, no longer of a godly nature, takes root, so will the ideology of such individuals override the normality and fruitfulness of a “One Nation under God” concept.

Pathway to Destruction

The-Forces-of-Evil

Are we increasingly entering a pathway to destruction? It was noted that we live in a culture that is increasingly hostile to God with many have dismissed God from their lives. No individual, and no nation, will be good without God.  Nations ancient and modern have been wicked and cruel, and have inflicted unspeakable misery on humankind because they rejected the one true living God.

The endangerment of humanity becomes a factor when former declarations are ignored or cast aside as obsolete.  One such declaration was that peace is more than just the absence of war; true peace is justice, true peace is freedom; and true peace dictates the cognition of human rights (Ronald Reagan).  Are we witnessing the downsizing of peace as turmoil and chaos become the norm of the day?  Are we looking to the wrong source of true peace?

Jesus said: Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you.  Let not your hart be troubled, neither let it be afraid, neither let it be afraid (John 14:27).  Jesus acknowledged that we shall hear of wars and rumors of wars; see that you be not troubled, for all these things must come to pass (Matthew 24:6). The endangerment of humanity is a reality, but as David facing the giant Goliath realized who his Deliverer was (1 Samuel 17:45); we should, as believers, look to Jesus as our Savior (Deliverer) and Peace Giver.

Heart Not Right Before
God

The Psalmist wrote: There was not right (steadfast) with him (God), neither were they faithful to his covenant (Psalm 78:37).  There has been a growing tendency to forsake the Word of God; to allow deception and compromise to usher in the endangerment of humanity with the possibility of a withdrawal of God’s protective hedge, until reconciliation is sought.

The Parable of the Vineyard, later becoming a Parable of Judgment, was noted by the Prophet Isaiah: God planted a vineyard in a very fruitful hill; he fenced it, and gathered out the stones thereof, and planted it with the choicest vine, and built a tower in the midst of it, and made a winepress therein, and he looked that it bring forth grapes, and it brought forth wild grapes.  His response: What could I have done more to my vineyard that I have not done (Isaiah 5:1-4)?

Then came God’s pronounced judgment: I will take away the hedge thereof; and it shall be eaten up (consumed); and break down the wall thereof (His protective shield), and it shall be trodden (trampled) down (Isaiah 5:5-6).  The endangerment of humanity is in the fact that nations, or individuals, who once produced the desire grapes (adherence to God’s Word), are now producing wild grapes by allowing ungodliness to reign.

Token Judgment

The Psalmist wrote: He (God), being full of compassion, forgave their iniquity (sinfulness and rebellion), and destroyed them not; yea, many a time turned he his anger away, and did not stir up all his wrath (Psalm 78:38).  Has the endangerment of humanity ventured forward as in the pre-Flood days of Noah and Sodom and Gomorrah (which were destroyed); with possible token judgments, rather than total destruction, as God seeks reconciliation to Him?

Apostle Peter wrote: God spared not the old world (pre-Flood days of Noah), but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly; and turned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes condemned them to an overthrow (destruction), making them an example to those that afterward should live ungodly. He delivered just Lot (a righteous man) (2 Peter 2:5-7). The Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust to the Day of Judgment to be punished (2 Peter 2:9).

Day of the Lord

Scripture reveals: The Day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also, and the works that are therein, shall be burned up (the endangerment of humanity becoming a reality); seeing that all these things shall be dissolved (destroyed), what manner of persons ought you to be (reconciliation offered) in all holy conversation (conduct) and godliness (2 Peter 3:10-11).

Seeing that you look for such things before (beforehand), beware lest you also, being led away with the error of the wicked (embracing the endangerment of humanity category), fall from your own steadfastness (faithfulness).  But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus (2 Peter 3:17-18).

Scripture reveals: The integrity of the upright shall guide them; but the perverseness (deceit) of transgressors shall destroy them (Proverbs 11:3).  The wicked are overthrown and are not (no more); but the house of the righteous shall stand (Proverbs 12:8). The endangerment of humanity is spelled out throughout God’s Word; as well as salvation of the soul.  The choice lies with each individual as to their final destiny; after life on earth no longer exists.
